I have extensive experience in the field of mental health and addiction as a Registered Social Worker/Psychotherapist. I have also clinically supervised other mental health and addiction professionals since 2006. My Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University focused primarily on clinical interventions for individuals and couples.

Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse and often marginalized populations. These include people living with mental health and/or addiction issues, people from LGBTQ communities, recent refugees and street-involved youth. I have worked at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, the Canadian Mental Health Association and Family Services Toronto, and most recently managed and clinically supervised other therapists at Breakaway Addiction Services.
